Expiration Dates On Flyers

If you looked at the "Outdoor Specials" and "Car Care Flyers" (links to the left) you may have seen on them an expiration date of 7/25/05. That is there so that if you are ordering through me, I have time to place your order while these items are still on special. If you order through the Fuller Direct website, you can get the special prices through 7/31/05.

Durable or Disposable?

Even before I became an Independent Distributor for Fuller Brush I was aware that in household goods there were two main types of products. Disposable goods are those that are cheaply made and sold inexpensively, with an estimated life of 2 or less years. These include many of the items sold at the big discount stores. They include almost any item you would use in your house. As an example, you can go to the big discount store and buy a household broom for about $4. And you can go back again & again, buying those $4 brooms once or twice a year for the rest of your life. Or you can invest in a Fuller Household Broom for $19.99 and most likely never need to purchase another for the rest of your life. The Fuller Household Broom was laboratory tested for over 1 million sweeps! That’s equivalent to sweeping the average kitchen every day for over 20 years.

If you check for similar quality products, you’ll find they are of comparable price. This is very much like any tool you purchase. Quality costs a little bit more up front, but pays for itself in the long run.

A Great Product at A Great Price

Fuller has many great products, I would like to highlight one of them here. It is the Fulsol Cleaner Degreaser. It is a concentrate and is currently on special for $16.99/gallon. It mixes at 2 ounces of Fulsol with water to make a gallon of a cleaner similar to Fantastic® or Formula 409®. The last time I checked, those 2 items sold at Safeway for $3.79 for a 32oz Spray Bottle. If you purchased now while it is on special, you pay $16.99 + s/h ($5.95) + your local sales tax, for the equivalent of 256 – 32oz bottles of a comparable cleaner @ $3.79/bottle + tax. ($970.24 + tax). Since it is concentrated you can also increase the cleaning power for a particularly tough cleaning job. To get your Fulsol while it is on special, go to Fuller Direct. If the link doesn't work properly, type in fullerdirect.com and us ID #0532600.
